Here’s what I’ve been up to recently...

04/22/19: The Enemy Within!

If you’ve been thinking to yourself, “I haven’t seen Lee murder people on television in a while,” you’re not alone. Luckily for you, I’m back, shooting guns and being generally surly, on The Enemy Within (Episode 109, “Homecoming”), this Monday, April 22nd, on NBC. I can’t tell you anything that happens, but I can tell you I get to drive an armored car, an awesome black Camaro…and those aren’t even the coolest vehicles I got to play with. I also got to spend time with some old friends, including fellow guest star Michael Braun and series regular Cassandra Freeman, who lights up every set.

It’s difficult to be surly and mean when Cassie Freeman’s around. That’s how you know it’s acting.

01/14/19: Acting for Animators at SVA

I’m excited to announce that this February, i will be teaching an Acting for Animators workshop to students in the Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects department at the School of Visual Arts (where I’ve been teaching almost every summer in the MFA Visual Narrative program). As anyone who knows me will attest, I’ve been a huge animation fan my entire life, and I’m thrilled that I’ll finally have a forum in which to talk about Stanislavsky and Miyazaki in the same breath.

01/11/19: The Blacklist!

Episode 603, “The Pharmacist,” aired on NBC on January 11th, 2019. For those of you wondering: yes, I did all my own fighting, though that amazing tumble down the stairs? That was my stunt double, Ben Rezendes, whose praises I cannot sing enough. Not only is he brave, he was unbelievably kind and patient as he gave me helpful pointers to really sell that fight on camera.
